2022 was truly a unique year. Not only due to Ahel’s achievements, which include supporting 17 campaigns in 7 Arab countries and educating 350 Arab leaders in our learning programs on how to be better campaigners, leaders, and stronger rights holders. 2022 was unique because of the people we worked with and their phenomenal stories despite the shrinking civic space in most Arab countries. We met and worked with people with astonishing resilience, conviction, and leadership skills.
